Obituary for Robert Ray Woodward

Robert Ray Woodward, 58, of Abilene, Texas passed away, Sunday, January 14, 2018 at his home.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Second Baptist Church, 901 Victoria Street, and Pastor James C Neely will be officiating.

Robert Ray was born April 24, 1959 in Altus, Oklahoma, to Robert and Helen Woodward.
He graduated from Abilene High School in 1977. He had an early career in auto body work then went on to spend most of his working career in the oilfield mainly at Smith Pipe and Supply. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandkids. He had a huge heart for all animals and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed.

Robert Ray is survived by his parents Robert and Helen (King) Woodward, his son Cody Woodward and his wife Savannah, his daughter Whitney Woodward and her partner Richie Rangel, three grandchildren Everly and Emily Woodward and Nathan Rangel, his brother Randy Woodward and his wife Terri and two nieces Stacy Stokes and her husband Chris and son Braxton and Heather Woodward and her son Jeremy.
