Frank Rogers Strawn, 90, of Abilene, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 9 a.m. in North’s Memorial Chapel with the burial following in Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, Texas. Larry Fitzgerald will be officiating, under the direction of North’s Funeral Home, 242 Orange St.
Frank was a graduate of the first graduating class of Cisco Junior College. He married Shirley Berry in Cisco, Texas on April 9, 1961 and celebrated fifty-seven years of marriage. He retired from Civil Service with the Federal Government from Dyess Air Force Base. He was a member of the Church of Christ and served as a deacon for the Minter Lane Church of Christ for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley of Abilene, daughters, Denise McCarty of Abilene and Patty Strawn of Fort Worth, and one grandson, Quentin McCarty of Abilene whom Frank had proclaimed as the most wonderful grandson in the world as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
