Alfred Rodney Stokes better known as "Freddie" 63 of Abilene, TX passed away Thursday, December 24th, 2020 at Hendrick Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday December 30, 2020 at 1:30pm,visitation will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at North's Funeral Home. from 6-8pm. Alfred was born August 21, 1957 in Abilene TX, to parents Alden Stokes and Linda Garcia. He received his primary education from Abilene public schools graduating from Abilene High School in 1977. After High School Alfred became a Truck Driver and drove trucks for many years. After a long career in Trucking, he then worked driving Tow Trucks and lastly he worked for University place Sr. Living in the Maintenance Dept. In his spare time he loved Crafting and wood working. Freddie was preceded in death by parents, and sister Brenda Tonche-Stokes, Left to cherish his memories are wife MaryAnn Stokes of Abilene, Children Alfred Rodney Stokes Jr. and wife Heather of Midland, TX. Nicholas Ray Stokes and wife Martha of Mansfield, Justin J. Stokes and wife Jessica of Abilene, Alden Pablo Stokes and wife Rose of Odessa, TX, daughter in-law Christy Stokes of Abilene, TX,. Brothers: George Stokes and wife Lydia of Abilene, Joe Stokes and wife Lupe of Kyle, TX, Larry Stokes and wife Amely of Abilene, TX Danny Stokes of Abilene.
