Rose Ann Rueda went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2021 at the age of 61 in her hometown of Abilene, TX. Her battle with medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Rose stayed strong until the very end. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend with a huge heart of gold. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Rose. She loved spending time with her family and found happiness in baking her famous banana nut bread and banana drop cookies.

She was preceded in death by her brother Roel Lopez, sister Edna Gonzalez, and daughter Rachelle Lee Rueda.
