George was a good friend, we studied the bible together on and off for over 3 years. He always had great comments, good questions, and beautiful prayers. I liked George because he always participated in the class and added meaning and depth to the group studies. He was cheerful in all weathers, even when he didn’t feel good. He decided to give his life to Jesus and was going to be baptized on Feb 06th, 2021. Unfortunately, due to his illness, it wasn’t possible to do that, but the most important thing was that he made his decision for Christ. You know that’s the most important decision anyone is ever going to make in their entire life. Why? Because it has eternal consequences. Jesus loves us so very much. So much so that He died for us, and for those who believe we do not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. We all have things in our lives we’re not proud of, but if you give your life to Jesus you CAN NOT fail at this life. Let me repeat...... you CAN NOT fail. Because you will have gained eternal life. That precious victory over death that was bought and paid for, by the most precious blood that ever lived on this planet. And He was willing to give it up for you. He would have done it for you and you alone. And that’s why we must have that personal relationship with Him. To know He died for us personally. That He suffered for my sins....the sins I’ve committed. And we repent and give our lives to Him and He covers those sins, so they will never be remembered again. In John 5:28, 29 Jesus says, Don’t be surprised by this, because the time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice. Those who have done good (given their life to Jesus Christ) will come up into the resurrection of life, and those who have done wicked things (loved sin more than Christ and refused to repent) into the resurrection of judgment. I’ll miss studying the bible with my friend George, but I’m happy he made his decision for Christ before it was too late, I look forward to that resurrection day when I’ll meet him again and our friendship will continue forever in that place to wonderful to describe. Sincerely, Andrew Gallant
