Patsy Ann Welch Butler, age 78 of Abilene, Texas passed away on February 19, 2021. Visitation will be held Tuesday March 2, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm at North’s Funeral Home, 242 Orange ST in Abilene. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday March 3, 2021 at 12:30 pm at North’s Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2pm at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Abilene.

Patsy was born in Seagraves, Texas on January 29, 1943 to Albert and Willie Jo Welch. She was born into a large family of much love. She married her husband of 50 years Karl Butler on November 4, 1961. They traveled the world and USA together during her husband’s Air Force career. After retirement they moved back to Abilene for Patsy to be closer to family. Patsy had a love of living things. She had a love of plants. Also, great love for her family with a big heart. She was always giving to family and opening her home to those in need. She was a feisty, full of life Lady. She worked at a Bar-B-Que restaurant, kept grounds at several apartment complexes and loved her work at the plant nursery.
She is survived by her daughter and family, Kerry Terral (husband Monty) of Colorado City, her son Eric Butler (wife Guadalupe) of Abilene. She was also survived by her Grandson Travis Terral of Colorado City, Grandson Mitchell Terral (wife Destiny) and great grandson Mason of Las Vegas, NV. Additional Survivors include her Sister Joy Nix (husband O’neal) of Grand Prairie, Brother Bill Welch (wife Mary) of Euless, Joe Bob Welch (wife Deniece) of Oklahoma. She had many more nieces, nephews, cousins and other family to many to list and loved. She was preceded in death by Parents Albert and Willie Jo Welch, Brother David Welch, Thomas Welch, and Albert Newton (Butch) Welch.
