Lena Addie Pearl Oscar

Lena Oscar 77 of Abilene formerly of Miami, Florida, passed away Thursday February 25, 2021 in Abilene, Funeral services will be held Saturday March 6, 2021 at 11am at North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7pm at North's Funeral Home.

Lena was born October 19, 1943 in Miami, Florida to parents Emmanuel Rogers and Lena Patterson. She received her primary education from Miami Schools. Lena spent the majority of her life in Miami until moving to Abilene in April of 2008 to receive help, to help care for her daughter. Lena was a caring mother, sister and friend who loved her family dearly, she loved to be on the go, and had a very outgoing personality.

Lena was preceded in death by daughters; Paula Sheriff, Renee Lundy, sisters; Annie Lewis, Julia Mae Randolph, Juanita Houston, Christine Hudson, Hattie Mae Rogers, brother Benjamin Rogers Sr., and great-grandson Xavier Tremaine Oliver.

Left to cherish her memories are daughter Maria Hamilton of Abilene, TX Gwendolyn Lundy of Miami, Florida son William Lundy and wife Trina of Miami, Florida, 8 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great grandchildren, niece/sister Barbara Ann Raymond of Miami, FL., and a host of extended family and many friends.
